Student Life
Starting a college life presents a lot of new experiences such as living with roomates or alone,
meeting new people and managing your own space and time.
We've got a lovely green space for studying or if you prefer you could
relax at the cafe and meet with colleagues to discuss your school work or just relax.
Whatever the situation you are guaranteed a different and new
experience to learn from and enjoy.
Location
Delta College is located in a serene and clean environment and conveniently near bus stops, taxi ranks, boarding houses, clinics, churches, shopping and recreation areas that are suitable for students.
Accomodation
We are currently not a residential college. However, there are several Boarding Houses in and near Kalundu that our students can choose from. They range from single to multiple bed/ house dwellings with various levels of convenience. The type of accommodation sought is left at the discretion of the student. At the moment, Delta College remains a non-residential College.
Clubs
Delta College ensures that its students have a well-rounded program that includes extra-curricular activities. These include activities pertaining to sports, games, wellbeing, arts and crafts. The College facilitates competitions, local and international trips plus other related activities to make the Club experience a fun learning one. Contact your Student Guide for more information on which club you may be interested in. Prices range from and avaerage of K500 an above.
Meals
Delta College has a tight lecture schedule and if students need to spend longer than usual at the premises, we advised them to organize their own meals. The Tuck Shop is open and there are shopping centers within walking distance of the College. Packed lunches are also encouraged.
Holidays
Delta College sometimes helps to organize Holiday and International Celebrations together with the Student Guide, usually before the actual holiday, to allow the students an opportunity to celebrate, relax and have some holiday fun.
Internet
Delta College students get free internet access to help with their research papers, assignments, communication and to keep updated with world events. We, however, do not condone using the college internet for illegal activities, leisure and malpractice.I'm a paragraph.
Business Centre
Delta College houses a number of businesses to allow students easy access to products and services they may need, to help save on time and make it convenient for them to study with minimal disturbance.
Library
Delta College has a vast collection of reference books and materials for their respective programs. The collection is still growing. Students can borrow books and study in the serene environment of the College.
Diversity
Delta College respects diversity of various kinds, however we do not allow people’s preferences to disrupt the College programs and activities. Furthermore, any form of political advocacy and illegal activities are not allowed. Otherwise, just be yourself.
